It’s easier to be yourself if you can see yourself.
The Greater Conversation is a community and monthly newsletter which honestly explores and addresses all aspects of life through the eyes of a Middle Eastern / third-culture / woman / human in search of her most authentic voice and life.
Born from the response to my debut bestselling book The Greater Freedom: Life as a Middle Eastern Woman Outside the Stereotypes, it’s a place where we can continue to see ourselves, and the many nuances of our lives, explored and represented. Each month, there’s some thoughts from me, Alya Mooro, and recommendations of books, podcasts, newsletters and etc worth consuming. Paying subscribers also have access to a monthly book club, and community access.
Non-paying subscribers will receive:
Essay and recommendation newsletters every month.
Paying subscribers will receive, for £5/month:
Essay and recommendation newsletters every month.
A monthly online book club, with books curated and discussed as a jumping off point to connect on the themes and issues concerning us, in a safe and honest space. We’ll often have the author of the chosen book joining us, too.
Make requests for what you’d like to read about.
Be the first in the know about upcoming projects, events etc.
Alternative payment methods: You can also choose to pay £50/year, which gives you a slight discount, or become a Founding Member by paying £75/year, or whatever amount you’d like! Founding Members will get early access to exclusive things (I’m working on some veeery exciting things at the moment *eyeball emojis*) and my genuine gratitude for being supporters from the beginning.
For every 100 sign-ups, I’ll be comping 10 sign-ups for people who can’t afford it: So if you can afford it, know that your support will go toward someone who can’t. And if you would like to be comped a subscription, shoot me a message by replying to this email.
I’ll be donating a portion of my revenue to a different organisation every month, which I’ll be highlighting at the bottom of every newsletter.
